Looking to the origins of the classic lager style, where simplicity, traditional ingredients and attention to process all matter, we bring you Mains Pilsner. There is a base of high quality pilsner malt, Saaz hops all the way, and a slow fermenting Bohemian lager yeast that lets the ingredients shine through. It is just bready enough, just herbal enough and just bitter enough to keep things nicely in balance.

If you were at our stall during any of the summer beer festivals and events they you will have been partly responsible for clearing out the first keg-only batch. This time round it is also here in cans.
Na zdraví!

Coming to shops and bars this weekend. Trade sales can be made through our Sellar store linked in the bio.

Last month, around the feast of St Enoch, I brewed something special. Theneva is a revisit of the collaboration beer from last summer’s Mother Glasgow project. This was organised by @glasladiesbeersociety to commemorate Glasgow's 850th anniversary.

Last time round the beer was brewed with @overtonebrewing and we worked with local artist Lizzy Quirke @quirkel to create label artwork for the cans. This year I invited Maella Wallace @hivisability_ to create label art, since I knew that she had recently become a Glasgow mother herself. The resulting artwork that she created is stunning, and you can check out more of her work at www.maellawallace.com

The beer is once again a hazy/session IPA bursting with pineapple, passion fruit and mango from Tango and Solero aroma hops (two of my favourite modern and fruity German varieties). It was fermented warm with a new non-standard ale yeast that helps those tropical flavours pop.

Cans and kegs are going out across Glasgow and beyond in time for the weekend, so look out for Maella’s awesome artwork and enjoy a glass of Theneva from the best independent bottle shops and beer bars. Keep an eye on socials for where and when pints are pouring near you.
Cheers!

(If you fancy stocking Theneva, trade purchases can be made via the links in bio)

This is KOOL.
A German ale in the style of Kolsch, which is tasting rather delicious. We took the recipe from last year's Koln Style Ale and tweaked it for some extra crispness and balance. There is still the soft malty background, unmistakable noble hops, and a hint of fruit from the cool fermented German ale yeast. Everything you would want in your glass of Kolsch on a sunny day.
Best served KOOL. Prost!

Available from the best independent bottle shops and beery bars. Trade purchases can be made from our Sellar storefront linked in the bio.

What a day on Saturday celebrating 10 years of Eaglesham Beer Festival! @eagbeerfest
It was a soggy one as you can see from the pictures, but lots of tasty beer was drunk and plenty good banter from all. We sold out of Rustic Lager (yet again). Both Dalriada IPA and this year's Saison were getting lots of repeat orders and great feedback. I also couldn't mix up Raspberry Radlers fast enough.
Things were so hectic that I got zero photos on the day, but thankfully @jsbmediaservices was on site and has let me use his excellent photos.
Cheers!

Mains Saison for 2026 has just about everything we love in a beer. It is dry, bitter, packed full of flavour and supremely refreshing. Lots of boxes ticked there!
This year it was brewed with a LOT of whole leaf UK Archer hops in the kettle, and a big dry hop of Slovenian Celeia. These are descendants of the Goldings and Fuggle lines of hops respectively, so they offer up the classic earthy/herbal flavour combination but add a modern twist of lemon and lime. It is an ideal beer for enjoying as the seasons change and we move into some longer and sunnier days (hopefully).

Look out for the striking green cans in your favourite indie booze shops, and we’ll be pouring it at most of our summer festival dates.
